SHC2026 Final in Basel

The SHC2026 Finals took place in Basel this year, where the top 10 juniors and top 10 seniors of the Swiss Hacking Challenge 2026 qualifier as well as the ECSC team members of last year competed against each other to win prizes, and ultimatively get selected into the ECSC Team Switzerland. This team will then get to compete at the European Cyber Security Challenge 2026 in Bochum, Germany in October.
For two days, the finalists met at Coop Tagungszentrum in Basel. On the first day, the players got assigned to a team and had to compete in a jeopardy CTF.
On the second day, the participants could relax a bit, talk to the others that qualified and got presented talks by our sponsors, before moving on to the award ceremony.
Team Enigmosaurus has won the finals with 7473 points, followed by Team Daemonosaurus with 6973 points. Team Bashanosaurus with 6476 points and Team Adasaurus with 6473 poitns had a very close battle with difference of only three points! Last but not least, Team Cryptosaurus reached 5476 points!
